**Melyz** is a British singer songwriter, born in Geneva, Switzerland.
Her style: Electro Pop.
After captivating the media and audience attention in 2015 as the representative for Switzerland in the Eurovision Song Contest with her debut single “Time to Shine” (under her real name Mélanie René), she veered towards a more definite and personal sound, embracing her inherent duality: Melyz.
Working with producers Stephane Chapelle and Eric Osterman, she launched her debut EP “Don’t Tell On Us” beginning of 2019.
The EP generated a keen interest online, with more than 80k views on Youtube, and more than 100k streams on Spotify.
During the pandemic 2020, Melyz managed to keep an online presence, releasing a song and a music video, Bad Together, which managed to get more than 100k streams on Spotify and Youtube.
Melyz also collaborated with german-based producer SODA to release another banger in 2021, “Heart on Fire”, which managed to reach more than 1 million streams on Spotify and gain traction across Europe radio stations.
Songwriting and Toplining with and for other artists and producers has nourished her own personal music. Melyz is now currently working on a second body of work to present something very personal and very raw to her fans and followers who are impatiently awaiting a new release.
